The mill museum and shop are situated in the centre of Trefriw, a village on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park five miles north of Betws-y-Coed on the B5106.
Traditional Welsh bedspreads, travel rugs, tweeds and Welsh “tapestry” fabric are manufactured on site from the raw wool. Weaving and the 1940’s water turbine can be viewed Monday – Friday (mid-February – mid-December).
The tweed is tailored into capes, skirts, hats, caps and scarves. The Welsh “tapestry” is made into throws, cushion covers, dinner mats, tea cosies, runners, shoulder bags, shoppers and purses.
Our pure new wool products are only available in our shop or through our website.
We also stock pure wool knitwear, sheepskin rugs, gloves and slippers and accessories in natural fibres.
