About

Penmaenmawr Golf Club lies on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, nestled at the foot of the Sychnant Pass in a stunning location between the mountains and the sea. Overlooking Puffin Island, the Conwy Estuary and Llandudno’s Great Orme, its magnificent views put Penmaenmawr among the UK’s most scenic courses.

Distinct front and back nines are created by the 9 hole course’s alternate tees which make Penmaenmawr a challenge for visitors and members alike whatever calibre of golfer. A number of elevated or plateau greens and dry stone walls bisecting some fairways provide additional challenges and demand that all golfers have every shot in their bag. Penmaenmawr is renowned locally for the quality of its greens whose subtle borrows make for an interesting test of putting - if in doubt assume the green falls to the sea.

You will always receive a warm welcome in the clubhouse. Pen’s 19th hole where tasty fare and CAMRA award winning real ales await you.
