We all love to shop - well most of us do anyway! It's our most popular pastime, and it's firmly on the agenda throughout Conwy. What's on your shopping list? Your expedition can take you from the wide pavements and Victorian awnings of Llandudno's Mostyn Street to the hidden gems of our smaller towns and villages.

Towns like Conwy, Deganwy and Rhos-on-Sea are bustling with interesting boutiques and antique shops where you can treat yourself or pick up a unique gift for someone else.

There's also the chance to buy genuinely local products. Places like Trefriw Woollen Mills in the Conwy Valley sell an enticing range of Welsh cloth, flannel and tapestries along with other crafts. High quality ceramics are the theme at the Potters' Gallery in Conwy, which brings together the work of 20 regional makers.

And don't forget our food! We've a great range of long established family butcher, baker and grocery shops, and a handful of great new delicatessen, stocking the best Welsh specialities, from award-winning sausages to Welsh cheese, wine and locally brewed ale.
