Trained, impartial assessors visit participating visitor attractions annually. All aspects of the visitor experience are sampled, from initial telephone enquiries to catering, retail and toilet facilities, where available.

Visit Wales Quality Assured Visitor AttractionThis gives you the confidence that the attraction has been thoroughly checked before you plan your visit. Only those attractions that have been assessed by Visit Wales, and meet the VAQAS Cymru standard, receive the quality marque. Look out for this logo when choosing places to visit.

Did you know?

 

Hour-long wildlife cruises are available from Conwy aboard the launch Princess Christine. The estuary has been designated a site of European importance because of its wealth of bird and marine life.

Butterfly

Wales has a coastline 750 miles long (including all the squiggly bits).

Boats

The cliffs of the Great and Little Ormes are hosts to breeding colonies of thousands of seabirds, including Guillemots, Kittiwakes and Razorbills.
