Great days out

RSPB Conwy Conwy County is small, so you don’t have to go far to find great things to do and places to go. We’ve entertainment for both children and adults. Like the Welsh Mountain Zoo near Colwyn Bay or the Conwy RSPB Nature Reserve in Llandudno Junction, so it’s perfect for family fun days out. And our romantic spots are ideal for twos. Visit the beautiful gardens at Bodnant, or the lonely wilds of Pensychnant Nature Reserve, where you can be completely alone.

We really look after our heritage, so we’ve plenty of historic sites, too. Visit Conwy’s medieval Castle and town walls. A World Heritage Site. Or the Great Orme’s prehistoric copper mines in Llandudno.

And everything you’ve ever wanted to do in the great outdoors is right here. Visit Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre for a massive range of activities. Or head for our coastline to some of the best watersport venues in the UK. Where you can ski, sail and surf.

Watch our Adrenalin and Adventure Video here.

And if that’s all a bit too strenuous, take it easy and soak up some culture. See Conwy’s prestigious Royal Cambrian Academy art gallery. Or catch a world-class theatre performance at Venue Cymru.

Attractions

Lots to see. Best plan ahead
Medievial castles, prehistoric mines, working woollen mills. Not your average attractions, but we prefer them that way.
