Visit Wales now recommends that all tourism operators prepare, and make available an ‘Access Statement’ to potential visitors. This is currently the only way of accurately describing accessibility in tourism premises.

When booking, please ask whether an Access Statement has been prepared for the premises in which you are interested.

Did you know?

Conwy Castle was originally painted white and the towers sported conical roofs. What a sight that must have been.

Castle Turret

Penmaenmawr, a few miles west of Conwy, was the favourite holiday spot of Victorian prime minister William Ewart Gladstone.

Mussel Conwy

World famous mussels are harvested locally and processed at a special new plant on Conwy Quay, which is open to visitors.
